The custodial technician training program by Cambridge Business Institute is designed to teach diversified skills needed to maintain commercial and residential properties. During our custodian education program, students are also introduced to building maintenance job skills and employment opportunities. Students are instructed to place more emphasis on safety, clothing, and proper use of hand and power tools. Students review mathematical procedures including computations using fractions, decimals, and percentages. Our custodial technician training certification program is aimed at helping students improve their marketability to employers looking for certified custodial technicians.
Our custodian course in NY helps students learn the skills employers require for positive work relationships and long-term employment. They include targeted workplace competencies: problem-solving and other cognitive skills, oral communication skills, personal qualities, work ethic, and customer service, interpersonal and teamwork skills. Course Length: 240 Hours
Students must have the ability to learn the basic methods of cleaning and be able to physically perform the assigned task as described in the course description. Instructors will be able to assist any student further who may have disabilities.
